A Japanese and Korean restaurant on Keewatin Street

Kimchi Sushi was built around one simple idea: bring Japanese sushi culture and Korean home-style cooking together under one roof, so every guest at the table finds something they love. You will find us at 998 Keewatin Street (Unit 14, behind the Co-op and McDonald’s), an easy trip from Keewatin, Garden City, Tyndall Park, Amber Trails, the Maples, Weston and Brooklands. Our casual, family-friendly dining room has a one-of-a-kind interior that makes every visit feel special.

Sushi, sashimi and Korean BBQ on one menu

Our menu pairs sushi rolls, specialty maki, nigiri, sashimi platters, tempura and Japanese hot dishes with traditional Korean favourites like bibimbap, bulgogi, kimchi-based dishes and Korean BBQ plates. Guests keep coming back for the Kimchi King Roll, kimchi soup with noodles, kimchi tofu and our assorted sushi roll combos, often starting with a bowl of edamame. Pair your meal with wine, sake or beer, and save room for dessert.

Kimchi Sushi is open Tuesday to Sunday from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM (closed Mondays) and welcomes guests from across Winnipeg, including Sinclair Park, William Whyte, St. James, the West End and the North End.
