About Our Tempura
Good tempura should be light and crunchy, never heavy. At Kimchi Sushi on Keewatin Street we coat shrimp and vegetables in tempura batter and fry them until crisp, so they arrive at the table golden and ready for dipping.
Besides the assorted platter, you can order shrimp, vegetable, yam or squid tempura, and our hot appetizers include TNT tempura drizzled with house-made special sauce. Tempura is also tucked into many of our sushi rolls as crunchy tempura crumbs.

Thin slicing helps the vegetables cook quickly and evenly, and the light batter lets the natural flavour of the shrimp and vegetables come through. Order it with sushi for the classic tempura and sushi combo.
